About our Ministry

Our Student Ministry has the expressed purpose of teaching our students to Love God - Love Others. Jesus said to love God and to love others are the two greatest commands. Therefore we strive to teach, model, and encourage our students to live by this command. We believe it is the mission of all Christians, including students, to fulfill the Great Commission of Go, Make Disciples, Baptize, and Teach.

Our ministry is simple in its structure. We believe in solid Biblical teaching as our foundation. We believe students are capable of grasping theological truths found in the Bible, which is the inspired word of God. We create opportunities and environments for worship, learning, fellowship, serving, and reaching out to other students.

Our ministry targets seventh graders through seniors in high school. We are extending our ministry to college age students. We also see ourselves as a support system to the parents of these students.

Our Student Ministry also tries to provide opportunities that would be difficult for parents to provide. We attend Camps, Conferences, Festivals, and other large events, so students can gain from the experience of being in a Spirit centered environment with lots of other students. We also strive to go on Mission Trips every few years. We want students to have one or two opportunities during their high school years to serve in a cross-cultural ministry.

Our Student Ministry strives to equip students to live out their faith. We consider ourselves successful when we see those twenty-five to thirty year old adults who were a part of our ministry faithfully working as the Church.
